OB MODELS SIMPLIFIED


MY FRIENDS ALL OF YOU JUST NOTED DOWN ,WHAT MAM CALL U NOTES ,BUT NO CROSS QUESTION IS HOW THE DIFFERENT MODELS ARE UNIQUE IN THIER FIELD.?

SO NOW I AM ABINASH ,HAVE MADE AN EXTENSIVE RESEARCH ON NET AND FOUND OUT FOLLOWING POINTS ON MODELS OF OB.HOPE YOU ALL HAVE FIND A SIMPLE WAY OF VISION TO UNDERSTAND THE OB MODELS.......

ACTUALLY what happen is in any organisation ,there is a way of doing the work by the employees in the direction of management.so types of work atmosphere ,that generally observed till now,Those types of working atmospheres are here called as MODELS. actually what is observed is explained in these models .i will explain with suitable examples of each model.

there are 4 models explaining the type of working atmosphere in an organisation which is obesrved till now.


  • AUTOCRATIC MODEL
  • CUSTODIAL MODEL
  • SUPPORTIVE MODEL
  • COLLOGIAL MODEL

    AUTOCRATIC MODEL

    let understand this,u have seen many times in movies, that boss behaving rudely or even saying to fire,if the actor or actress had not done work properly or in the right as said by the management. or remind the KRISSH MOVIE when PRIYANKA CHOPRA GETS late to rich her office after comming from MANALI meeting hritik ,and how severly they get scolded by her LADDY BOSS....

    SO the thing is that type of WORKING ATMOSPHERE ,where you have to obey each and every command of boss,if not ,then ready to be fired and search a new job......this type of atmosphere or MODEL CAtegorized under AUTOCRATIC MODEL....


    SO main points are-

    • model based on- power
    means the boss of the organization has the power to command you to do the required job,if you not do,then they can fire you.
    • managerial orientation-authority
    means manager or management have authority on you,they commands you to do the job.that management knows what is good for organization.
    • employees orientation-obedience
    means employees are only obedient to work or they have no dicison making power,they only obey what said by the management.or boss.
    • psychological result-dependent on boss
    as boss is here everything,they show respect to boss,but not to manager and dependet on boss,for everything.
    • performance result-minimum

     CUSTODIAL MODEL

    K now you remind the many more indian public sectir and central govt,owened organization,like INDIAN RAILWAY,ok,,lets take one example here.indian railway provides so much facilty to its employes ,that may be the BEST JOB THAN A BANKER...it gives free train ticket,free medicals,,free schools,free space to playgrounds,many recreation facilities,clubs to rejoy,facilty to have party in lower fee,like many of the things. BUT FRDS,,HERE are people work just to get involved in work ,but not to work for indian railway who give them so much facility,they ask that they work,o thier birth right to avail such facilty from indian railway...so let it come to model...

    points of this model is
    • model based on -economic resource of organisation
    means if the indian railway or the organisation have no so much economic resource or fund to avail so much extra facilty to its employees,then sure people will leave to work here and sit on strike....
    • managerial orienatation-money
    means management gives or directed towards wages and social welfares for employees
    • employees orientation-security
    means employee need job security,social welfare needs for themselve as ultimate  factor to work.
    • psychological result-dependence on organisation
    means bapa juade ,,,pani achi,,,sosa lagile siade,,mane autocratic model re boss evrything,so employees are boss dependent thile,,but ethi organisation sgiving all facilities,so dependent on organisation.
    • performance-passive performance

    SUPPORTIVE MODEL

    here in this model,i can only give an example of facebook,here the owner of facebook,is leading his bussiness,with some certain to this model ....

    points of this model-
    • model based on -leadership of management
    means management or manager show a leadership behaviour in organization,by supporting the employees in thier work.organiztion donot just throws work burden,but it creates a supportive working atmosphere for its workers as per the intrset of organisation,to the capability of the employeers.

    • managerial orientation-support
    thats mean ,the management does what?? management provide support to its employees by creating a supportive atmosphere through leadership behaviour ,rather tahn power and money .

    • employees orientation-job performance
    as management provides supportive atmosphere,job performance increases ,,and employee directs themselves towards job performing as per organization rules.

    • psychological result-participation
    as a supportive sorrounding developes around working sphere ,then employees actively participate and the leadership motivation towards work ,leads them participation.
    • performance-awkened performance
    COLLEGIAL MODEL

    this an extension of supportive model, and nothing else,but this is unique in its maximum output,which is employed many WELL ESTABLISHED MANUFACTURING UNITS LIKE ,ferari motors, BMW manufacturing units,coca cola company,and all leading international helicopter manufacturing units......

    • model based on-partnership
    means the management or the organisation builds feeling of employees are partners of the company or they are equal to the managerial levels,

    • managerial orientation-teamwork
    means as organisation builds employees as a part of organisation ,this developes a team work,employees feel managers or boss are also same as they to the organisation.and this developes team work efforts under one roof of organisation...

    • employyes orientation-responsibility
    means as organisation treat employees as a part of them,so an obligation developes in the mind of employees towards the work.and they bear cetain responsibilty to thier work,and give 100% to thier work.they treat the copmany as thier own.

    • psychological orientation- self-discipline
    means as a responsibilty comes to employees due to organization partnesrhip with them,so employees make them self disciplined towards work and work effectively.

    • performance- moderate enthusiasm

    so frds ,all it ends now.so a new thinking developes here,if our country creates a felling of COLLEGIAL MODEL Towards MAOISTS., then may be our biloins of property may not be destroyed like  FOREST FIRE....EVERYDAY THEY ARE KILING A YOUNG MAN ,IN ARMY,OR SPECIAL FORCE,WHO ARE GREAT ASSETS OF COUNTRY.....
